Note that the Roger Hodges and Thomas White property is at the headwaters of Julian Creek. Julian Creek is immediately north of the Western Railroad tracks. We know that sometime later, this was the site of Mannington, owned by Matthew Manning, Sr. and Jr. Background is from a 1907 Coast and Geodetic Survey map.
